Made in the Pont l’Evêque style, this a great example of an earthy, luxurious and complex washed rind cheese. It is named for the inclement weather off the rocky coast of King Island that has been responsible for many a shipwreck in the island’s history.
Did you know? Our Stormy Washed Rind is brushed with Brevibacterium linens and carefully hand washed during maturation to produce its distinctive aroma and orange colour.
Top Tip: Always delicious on its own, Stormy matches well with pickles and sourdough bread or fruit pastes, dates and hazelnuts. It also goes well in dishes featuring beef, game, bacon and smoked meats, mushrooms and potatoes.
